I used to watch this show religiously as a kid. This is episode one. It’s kind of weird. A guy too old to be on a show like that is competing against a little girl.

This reminds me of Nick Arcade, which came a little later.
I came in to make the same comparison, really an interesting thing to see such an early example of a TV show about video games exclusively.
People in 1982 knew there was interest in watching people play video games. Now there is more gameplay video on the Internet than you could watch in a lifetime.
Wow, what a different time. All the people on stage were so awkward. It was an interesting watch, thanks for bringing it to my attention. :)
