I believe this will mostly affects games which were lacking in technology.

I’d personally LOVE to see The Sims 1 or The Sims 2 re-released with performance and resolution upgrades, and, most importantly, made to be open world. Since they’re older, I believe they could very easily render the entire map like The Sims 3, but with the charm of TS1 or TS2.

I cannot think of other games, since most games I see as adequate, whereas TS1 and TS2 were bound by system performance during their respective times.

For what it’s worth, you can play Dolphin in VR. Use the 3D tv setting, it’s already in widescreen thanks to a hack.

The only catch is that you need to play with a controller.

Yeah there are a lot of games with “VR” ports or mods that allow for a headset while playing. I feel like if they’re not fully immersive, they don’t cut it. Now if the game supports a steering wheel, petals etc that’s different. But in general, I should be able to use standard VR controllers or hand tracking.

Would be nice but I don’t think that it’s going to be a reality. That said, FZero on dolphin could be mapped to a wheel and played well in VR, it would just take some tweaking of the thresholds and tolerances.
