You could get any headset and attach a modmic to it, it opens up a lot more options.

I moved my Desktop to Linux when the Steam Deck was announced. Before that I had no idea that Linux was able to play almost any game using Proton.
So I think the Steam Deck has also boosted Desktop numbers.
Lutris has a toggle for this so you could check what that calls and add it to your launch script.
I was having issues with Jedi Survivor and Steam Input apparently due to the latest EA launcher. Turning the controller on after the game loaded fixed the issue for me.
Also a Sunshine user and it works pretty well. For gaming the most seamless experience is Steam Play though but sadly it’s not as good as Sunshine.
My friends can finally see and see my streams with this update. Before it was a choppy mess.
We’ll have to wait and see if they get away with it. I may be OK paying more if I already had my mind set on going and didn’t know about the price hike but if the experience is not worth it I won’t visit again.
Went to Epcot in November 2022 and it was the time when I paid the most and the park looked like a husk of its former self. Now I will actively avoid the parks for the foreseeable future.
I wonder if this is why my monitor’s brightness was acting up and dimming by itself. I just thought it was time to upgrade the monitor. Haven’t seen the issue in a few days so maybe it’s fixed.
I remember setting up a TeamSpeak server back in 2012 before Discord took over. Worked for us at the time.
I mostly play with the Steam Controller so I rely on Steam Input which works quite well but only if you’re playing on Steam.
EndeavorOS with KDE is basically steamOS without restrictions. I’ve been running it fine for years.
Yes as far as I know you need special clients for now. I’ve been using discord-screenaudio for a year or so and it works on Wayland. Also with the latest update of Webcord I’ve been able to stream with audio but friends are saying that it doesn’t sound as good.
Other than showing the xdg-portal popup when sharing your screen the experience is essentially the same as the Discord app.
I switched to Wayland to get discord streaming with audio working but now Steam remote play has issues capturing some windows unless I open Steam with the -pipewire option. Other than these issues with video streaming it’s been almost the same ir better than x11 on my AMD machine.
I actually had to switch to Wayland to be able to stream with audio on Discord.
On EndeavorOS I haven’t had issues with a Vega64 and now with a 6800XT. I followed the AMD Gpu guides from Arch wiki to get everything up and running but that was back when I started the build with the Vega 64. After the upgrade I didn’t even need to touch anything and all non anti-cheat games work quite well. Maybe I got lucky though.
I was able to do for years too on Windows but after switching to Linux I haven’t been able to get the overlay working for non steam games. It could be that I’m on Wayland or something but so far I haven’t been able to figure it out.
My only issue with Steam Link is that it won’t stream my non-steam games on Linux because it can’t render the Steam overlay. Moonlight allows me to stream any game but I’m not able to use Steam Input since it makes the game think that I have an xbox 360 controller.

I’ve played most of those games on Linux and they work out of the box on my EndeavorOS setup with AMD. You may be missing some drivers or libraries specific to your setup.
This happened to me when playing Hades a few years ago, choosing DirectX was faster and more stable than Vulkan when using Proton.
