I only learned this a few weeks ago at 40 years old, now my hair is blue, both my ears are pierced and I’m a lot happier. I told my 19 year old daughter that “what will people think?” has been my mantra, now it’s “fuck 'em”

Yep, I could walk into a McDonald’s here and earn at least the same depending on the position. I knew that going into it though.

For a lawyer it doesn’t matter where you are in the US that is very low. I used to make more than that doing tech support in a high cost of living area.

EMT; I’ve heard that I’m about to get a raise to $17/hr but I think it may just be a carrot to keep me there (currently make $16).

I’m 40, my siblings are 19 and 23 and 41. They all appreciate hanging out.

I had a cookout at my house, had maybe 15 people over, lots of drinking, lots of swimming. I just got a new grill for the party and it was nice to cook on. Today I’m working 12 hours which is annoying but that’s life.

Yeah, I’ve done plenty with it before. I’m planning to re-engineer this whole setup so I can unscrew the valves in the future for easy replacement.

That is certainly the next step.

That’s an idea but I don’t currently have a 3d printer and maker spaces don’t exist where I live. That and the torque I put on this valve to get it where it currently sits would break any 3d printed plastic part I’ve come across.

More than likely there is something in the pipe. I’m going to have to cut it open to investigate and replace the valve. I am 100% turning it the right way as there are stops built in that prevent incorrect rotation. The next iteration will have valves that can unscrew.

My son snapped one of the ears off a few days ago and I thought I could be more successful but alas I was not.
