This seems interesting, never seen it before.
But i’d say be careful as there’s not much information on the screen (refresh rate, gamut range) and it’s great to brag about you being able to switch parts but there’s not much info on that, i’d be surprised if you can swap anything beside the ssd and some ram. Also the marketing is a bit weird, the keyboard is showed at all time but the price shown is wothout until you try to actually check the price… Kinda scummy if you ask me.
A part of me still think it looks a bit like a barebone low quality tech that is almost useless in it’s option-less, low spec state.
Can’t wait to play highly competitive game (moon buggy) in 700hz on my gaming rig (amstrad)
I got a 2060 super and i must say i’m very happy, i do 3d stuff so the ray tracing was plenty useful and despite it getting a bit it fairs pretty great in most games and the price was okay at the time (500 €still a bit high since it was during the bitcoin mining madness =-=")
Well everything is dandy fine then ? It’s no problem if someone does anything without consent as long as you can “easily” do something about it heh ?
That means the cost will drop ! Right ? Right…?
There’s another comment that explains it in more details than me but it’s a hierarchy of files your C://user/you/appdata…etc and since it branches into multiple choices you can call it an arborescence if you will.
It creates an arborescence that contains the necessary library for you application to work with a thick layer of magic on top of that to make it all work. This is were my understanding is at at least
It’s an environment in wich it makes the game run sort of
Windows 7/8 … “Old machines”…
…
Am i this old ?
I know you can’t make battle maps with it but have you hear of azgaar ? It’s an awesome open source world map maping web app !
Hmm since it’s linux you could have a service that handles that at boot i think. (I’m a noob take this with a grain of salt)
Not op but i personally use a fan controler as on my laptop asus weird overboost system is not very well handled by bios.
Ok now find a job in a suspicious facility, write all your whereabouts inside that thing, die gruesomely, and make sure this thing is visible on you, bonus point if you manage to get some blood on the screen !
Oohhh i’ll surely check this out ! Thanks ! (I prefer strawberrys to Clementines anyway)
I’m using Clementine for now it has nice management features, it’s overall pretty great. Only downside is that some minor gestures are broken and the UI is not really pretty ’
Yes. Just yes ahah
I switched to linux on my laptop i had to do 4 reinstall to get my nvidia gpu to work and as of late my speaker arent recognised anymore, despite reinstaling pulse and alsa. One of my informatitian friend that has a linux laptop had gpu issue too, the laptop at work need frequent overseeing by the it to work properly etc etc…
I love linux and I truly think we NEED to get our hands back on our tech, and understand better the technology we use, but yeah… If you really need your laptop to be fully operational quickly and you’re not tech savvy well think twice…
Yeah emphasis on desktop… Laptop can be tricky
Well since a few days my laptop speakers do not work anymore lmao. I had to install it 4 times to make my gpu drivers work. If you’re not that teck savy it’s fine but you need to atleast be interested in it and ready for it, and also patient. If you have a laptop I strongly advise you check online to see how well supported it is and if you have a nvidia card check if people are having issues.
Good luck on your journey, so far i don’t regret my choice mostly because i know that linux is so maleable no matter the issue i’ll get it fixed.
I had a similar issue with my asus, and some dude made a workaround, if you’re motivated you can always make your own heat / speed setup with fancontrol
