It seems no worse than any other online marketplace now
True and incredibly distressing.

Lemmy and literal interpretations. Name a more iconic duo.
Buy two and a half carrots. Or maybe a big potato! $15 doesn’t go far these days.
Isn’t migration reliant on third party tools or your own effort to resubscribe and whatnot?
I know, I’m just joking about the way windows vista used to name tracking cookies. Rather, how sites named their tracking cookies. Given the replies, I take it no one else found it as funny as I used to.
I’ll take that information to the atm machine.
GmbH has been shitting up the web for ~20 years now. First tracking cookie I ever blocked.
It tends not to dawdle and is open to customization. Want a map? Make it. Want a unit? Make it. If you really want to get obsessive about any aspect then the option is available. Top it off with surprisingly nice art, a good community, and a sprinkle of nostalgia and you get a spicy pizza pie.
I knew about its initial release but had no clue whether it was the same team or an offshoot so I settled for a safe 10 years.
I recommend picking it back up if you enjoyed the campaigns. It’s just recently reached a third renaissance with an abundance of new fan content. No clue why.
Dunno whether this counts (free full game, no DLC, 10+ years old) but I’m loving battle for wesnoth. Some dialogue is stunted but it’s among the best hex grid strategy games I’ve played.
A low effort post day would help. Meme Monday or something.
A fresh push for improved ergonomics isn’t all that silly.
Mass exodus to surviving instances, severe issues with account creation, and a novel sense of overcoming adversity for those who remain. If .ml’s admins also cease developing, lemmy will stagnate for quite a while. Coin flip survival or death within 2 years.
Federation is one website simultaneously hosting and displaying content from another. Defederation is rejecting or rescinding federation. Not sure about the last.
If you used the package I think you did, that’s not unusual. Absolutely will not remember the name but there were numerous tweaks that just flipped the hotspot switch but a couple that allowed you to use a hotspot without directly using the inbuilt function. One was free and broadly used.
Back when they just began recognizing it, they noted peculiar traffic. Desktop websites, batch downloads normally unavailable to that system. This assumes that you utilized the internal hotspot system and didn’t create a separate one. Now? Not sure whether their system is more robust but it should, theoretically, be possible to obfuscate your traffic using third party hotspot software. No clue where to look for that anymore.
Just checked and they are, indeed, a crass sort. I don’t necessarily disagree with everything they said buuut I can see why they’d get the day of time out. Modding’s easier sans hostile users.
Yeah, there’s one mod over there who seems to be a sympathizer or naive, accepting the first report they receive. A bit frustrating.
Which politics community? (I’m mostly commenting to check back later)
Out of curiosity, what’s the utility in this? Is it meant to be a toy of sorts?
