Advertisers pay a fee to the website where their ad is displayed every time someone clicks on it, it’s called the Pay Per Click model. It’s how websites make money off running ads. There is a small fee for displaying the ad and larger one for click throughs.
I once got a full color, too many graphics, tiny writing to fit it all on one full page flyer about how doritos is made with human stem cells. I’ve got it in a file somewhere because it was so weird I couldn’t throw it out. And yes, some of the graphics were of the flavoring fetuses.

It seems like there is at least one down vote for every comment that gets enough attention for a few upvotes. I assume there is someone here who just really likes downvoting.
That and, at least on Memmy mobile, you swipe right to upvote and swipe slightly further right to down vote. Also upvote color is orange and downvote color is blue, which is counter intuitive to me personally. So if I get a few downvotes on a comment I think is awesome, I just figure it was an accident and someone was trying to upvote me. Because I’m awesome and who would down vote me?

Huh. I never thought of giving a fuck about disabled parking spaces as a progressive vs conservative thing. I live in one of the most progressive areas of California and you better bet your buttons you don’t accidentally park on the line next to a disabled space or the striped ramp space next to it. Touching the line is the same as taking the space and the fine is $420, $625 and $825 for your first, second and third offenses.
I don’t know if the cops are so keen on ticketing offenders because they care about access for people with disabilities or they just love that sweet sweet ticket money, but I can’t imagine anyone getting away with that, basically ever.
My pet peeve is not just the brightness, but the blueness. These things are fucking blue raspberry slurpee blue. Paired with a very reddish orange turn signal they come up behind me and indicate and I think I’m getting pulled over for a sec.
I don’t understand what’s happening in this picture. Why is the blue draw string not being used? Is the bag too short for the bin? Is that a laundry hamper? How would the groves for the lid work if a bag is in place?
