All the Disney games were tight. Aladdin, Lion King, Mickey’s Magical Quest (well, that one isn’t specifically about a movie), etc.
I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.
Currently on Earth for 8 years ensuring steps to unite humanity and usher us into the galactic civilization just so I can see my boyfriend again.

“I’m afraid Young Frankenstein has grown up. All that’s available is Old Frankenstein.”
I’ve got it all researched, but the storyteller is being an asshole and not giving me any female colonists to actually do any bioengineering (need babies; can’t make babies without women). I have a colony full of men that all hate each other. Half of them are bi or gay, too.
But at least I know the growth vats work great because I also set the child age rate to x100 (regular age speed for colonists) so a lot of the recruits are between 5 and 10 and have to be aged to be useful. Age 'em up to 13 and then use bioscultpers to keep them there forever :D
I’ve been playing RimWorld again after learning two more DLCs came out since I was last addicted. I fucking love Biotech. It adds furries! 😃
I have the same problem with the machines at my apartment. Actually, I think it’s worse because it’s not supposed to be an estimate; you pay based on time and you set the time yourself. I set the dryer to 45 minutes and it sometimes takes up to an hour and a half. At least it isn’t charging me for the extra time.
Fuck… They all have a hole! It’s right in the center!
Man, I remember when I bought a used copy of FF7 because I didn’t have it anymore, get through all of disc 1 only to find disc 2 had label damage (holes through the medium like the OP) and it wouldn’t load. You know how long it takes to get through the first disc of that game playing casually? 😩
Because they have enough people that they can just start climbing each other to get there? 🤔
As more of an outside observer here:
When I was still using Reddit, it looked like most people in that community were just running personal home media servers using basic as fuck raspberry pi setups or just old hardware that could handle it, like maybe a modded Xbox or something.
Here on Lemmy, it looks more like you’re all actual networking specialists hosting damn near everything from home automation to business-level server systems for your home business. You guys are serious; Reddit isn’t. Respect.
Wait… This is an entire game? I’ve seen memes of it and I thought it was about an update to Animal Crossing.
The Dreamcast still looks futuristic in 2024.
Anything handled by Nobou Uematsu.
Been playing again recently after noticing there was a new DLC I didn’t have. I like the new tracks added by Anomaly.
Damn… Wish I still had it because I wanna check out what that Death Note game is like. Though it does sound like it’s basically Among Us but with a Death Note skin.
Is it? I thought it was to get more points than the other team. I’ve been playing wrong this whole time?
Do the passengers survive?
I don’t see how I would be able to since the broadband modem never came to NA so mine just has the dial-up one. Even if the tools linked here would work with dial-up, somehow: I don’t have a landline to make the call. 😩
Edit: Needs a Raspberry Pi but doesn’t need a landline. Interesting… Just need a raspberry pi and an RJ45 cable. $40-50 and I could play Chu Chu Rocket against other people again! 😃
How much fucking harder/extra work is it to maintain a Linux version of something? God damn, I don’t even really use Linux outside of servers and I still think it’s bullshit how little support it gets because it’s like a Catch 22. Nobody works on it because nobody uses it; but nobody uses it because nobody works on it! (For gaming, anyway)
It’s amazing how much actual change this one piece of hardware has done to bolster Linux’s share of things, but it’s still also just kind of a drop in the bucket.
I always liked the complexity of the combat. You need to observe and find weaknesses, you have various tools used to do things like trap, or pin down the monster. You actually want to switch up your gear to the appropriate monster you’re hunting because there isn’t a singular “this fucks everything up” set. The actual attacking and shit is very Dark Souls-ish even before Dark Souls existed.
I don’t know how much deeper they got in recent times; last one I played was on the Wii. But if they ever added shit like Shadow of the Colossus or Dragon’s Dogma where you can climb on large monsters to find and hit their weak point that would be amazing for MH.
They go for the unattended bowls so they can just take it all for themselves. I dressed up as a decoration scarecrow one or two years after I was too old to trick or treat myself and held a bowl of candy in my lap out on the porch. Every kid that attempted to take the entire bowl, got a scare as I stood up and shouted scary things like “TAKE THE BOWL, I TAKE YOUR SOUL!”
