I watched all of them and it did get somewhat better here and there. The high points were just good enough that I still wanted to see what happened but there was just so much pointless junk that even the big cliffhanger ending didn’t really thrill me… I’d honestly be fine if they just told me how the story ends in an email or something lol

I suspect I know the entire reason this “article” was written, and it’s that the people who love every Disney property are still trying to make up literally any reason why Acolyte was cancelled other than the fact that it was just a jumbled mess of a show.

I love Star Wars, I watched every episode of The Acolyte. It was ok at best. It was somewhat enjoyable but had so many issues with the writing that I wasn’t that surprised when it got cancelled.

I switch between Boost for Lemmy and Jerboa. Boost has more features but is a little more complicated to use. Jerboa is super simple and made everything easy but it’s missing a few features I need to use occasionally.

I’m going to say Mario 64 just because it was a really good game that I enjoyed back in 96 and I’ve never heard of Nights Into Dreams until this post right now lol

Edit: after looking up the game I’m going to say a LOT of people probably don’t know Night Into Dreams because it was released for Sega Saturn and not that many people actually bought that system at the time.

Probably it was the first time as a young adult that I found myself out of money and realized no one was going to give me any more. It’s kind of a jarring experience the first time you realize you have $50 left in your account, you don’t get paid again for another week, and mom and dad can’t help you.

I’m honestly glad it happen to me sooner than later, because it taught me a lot about how to be resourceful, how to budget more carefully, and that as a grown adult I should really be able to handle these things on my own.

The term “retro” itself doesn’t even really mean “old”, it just means something is imitating the style of something older from 20 or 30 years ago. Just look at clothing for instance, “retro style” clothes could have been designed yesterday as long as they emulate an older style. *Vintage" clothes would be actual old clothes that were produced a long time ago

The hardest thing for me was the instant gratification. If I was feeling bored or lonely I’d just go on there and post any old bullshit just because I knew it would get an immediate response. I’ve been off Facebook for nearly 8 years now and I don’t miss it at all anymore though lol

The McDonald’s kiosk sucks. It constantly tries to upsell you on every item or tries to get you to go back and add more items to your order even after you’re done ordering.

The last time I went there I got a 10 Mcnugget “value” meal which still ended up costing $13. For that much I could have gone to a better restaurant and gotten a similar amount of food of much better quality.

To me at this point the only benefit to ordering McDonald’s is convenience. They’ve basically turned what should be an inexpensive value product into a premium product, but the “premium” aspect of it is just that they’re open late lol

If I didn’t make time to do anything besides work and sleep like that I would literally go insane after about 2 weeks

I don’t think flat-earthers are capable of indulging in concepts like other planets. They’re entire personalities are completely dedicated to indulging in their silly “theories” and insisting that it’s important.

For example, have you ever asked a flat earther what possible incentive could there be for “the government” to lie about the shape of the Earth? The only answer they’ve ever given me is “control”, then they get very smug as if this someone proved something and won’t really discuss it any further. I don’t think they’re capable of imagining anything beyond that.
