Canada as well.
Lots of sailors look for crew of varying levels when crossing with personal boats. Lots of work aboard for tall ship experiences as well. We live in a place where there are loads of sail boats on the east coast of North America and folks are looking all the time. Head to a marina and start asking around. Find sailing groups on facecrack or any social media and advertise yourself. Many will require experience but many will train you as well.
Simple french baguette, roasted ham and provolone with home made mayo and Dijon mustard.
Oh no I got to be real special. It was leiomyosarcoma. I was a paramedic for years fell down some stairs once with a patient when I was younger. Had some torn muscles and all that. Went on with life for 30 years with “a sore back” all the time. Oh well. Young and dumb right. One day I kicked a kitchen chair leg passing by. Turns out I couldn’t feel my foot…or the the other one either. Within 6 months I was paralyzed chest down. They chopped it out and I got major radiation treatments that will probably give me cancer before I die. Fun times.
Moral of the story…get your shit checked out.
The fish doorbell folks.
Hey fellow ignorer. Mine was a spinal tumor.
Clothing and textiles from natural fibres. No rubber tires as they are major shedders of micro plastics.

I’m over it. Life goes on. Weird club though.
I am one of a handful of people in the world known to have been diagnosed and treated for a rare sarcoma cancer in an even rarer area of the body, that generally effects only women (I am a man).
It’s a really crappy club. I wouldn’t suggest joining.

We live in Canada in a very rural area. We’ve opened our door to strangers. Gave people a place to sleep and a hot meal, even let them live with us for a time to get their feet under themselves. I’d hope someone would do the same for my family if they needed it.
Side note: one of these folks is actually here today having supper with us and hanging with the kiddos. She’s got a job and a house now and going back to school in September. Two years ago we let her set her tent up here and use the washroom for a few weeks.
Yes and those EMTs were making around $300/month.
Been this guy in a place where we were even written out of labor laws and started in the early 90’s. When I started I made $6.50/hr and worked 168 hrs per two week rotation as an EMT. As. paramedic after I paid for my own education I got a raise to $8. It was brutal and we were the highest paid in our area. Some were getting $0.60/hr standby and $50 per call in rural areas where you would at that time get a call or two a week.
We bought a Sony 720P LCD brand new 15 years ago. Our first tv together. It’s still our only tv and works just fine.

They might hate you for it but I agree.
