  • I just finished portal 1 & 2 for the first time! I was let down on the lore and story. I think if you were around on the internet when portal 2 came out in particular, you might understand. It just had so much reference in pop culture without explanation, i expected there to be more once you had context. I was let down.

That said DAMN these are excellent and fun games that are accessible to any player. The games are designed with fantastic visual clues to help you understand new puzzle elements. They are fun, not challenging to a frustrating degree, and the game is structured where you really can just play a bit before dinner or something.

  • I’ll be finishing up Shin Megami Tensei V this week. This is my first “smt” title, persona 5 was my introduction to this franchise and slowly working my way through.

I love the gameplay, managing teams and this is also the first game I’ve played where you’re really supposed to use the items liberally, the items to recreate spells is actually going to vary based on your stats instead of a fixed amount, so they are always helpful even late game.

The maps. The maps are a headache. It took me many days to find the entrance to an important location. It is frustrating but maybe it’s not my strong suit. I love playing it though, the fights don’t get boring and mobs can still be challenging if you aren’t paying attention.

Next I am going to finally play portal 1 and 2 because it is on sale for $7 on switch!!! I don’t have a PC and have been wanting to play for years!!!

And I somehow avoided all spoilers besides the meme. PORTAL BUNDLE ON SWITCH

  • In my experience if you’re only finding one or two apartments in your price range out of a ton…

    1. You can’t afford to live there. Everything costs more. Sales tax, gas, groceries, water, all entertainment, etc

    2. Those places you can afford probably don’t exist or are cheap for a very good reason (bad area/property)

I suggest looking around closer to you or where you have a saftey net or support, then look in those areas. Research the city look for lgbtq events or clubs etc. I hope you find your little haven !
