Maybe they meant an IPhone monopoly in the IPhone world.

Never used an IPhone… don’t miss it
yeah, the screen on my Pixel 7A cost more than $200 to get replaced and I can find a brand new 7A for $250… not worth the risk of a bad repair
and this is the banner that I was talking about:
This is what you see when you run out of free articles:
I’ve never seen one with that much power for phones… at 5v that would be 6A for the 30watts one… must be designed for laptops
And that said, I don’t get the Wired paywall at all and I’m not subscribed. I wonder if it’s an AB test.
I dont get it either besides that obnoxious banner that you can minimize… might be because of ublock origin addon
thanks. someone need to make a bot that auto-post archive links for paywalled sites though
it looks pretty thick (2.6cm)
What happened to that technology?
They probably realized that profits would decrease.
We need phones that don’t break so easily and we should be able to repair them and replace the battery, at the very least.
wow, that’s a stupid default setting. thanks
Which phone is that? I thought that most phones could not create a hotspot and at the same time connect to a WiFi network.
that’s another way, I guess… if you want to split the file, that is
there’s always more than one way to skin a rat
it depends if your hardware supports the algos that cryptsetup/luks use I guess…
agreed that it is useless for most cases but I could see it being useful if you need multiple people to agree on decrypting a file.
not really if you have a hardware chip that does the encrypt/decrypting
there was too many bugs in tiling WM last time i tried… which one do you use?
Fair point, but I never had a Mac or IPhone on principle. Because I don’t like Apple’s strict policies. I’ve owned a PC since the early 90s.
