Playing side scrollers my whole life and seeing Mario64 at a Walmart. Being able to play in actual 3D and thinking at no way they can surpass this.

'Nam flashback to the Gif/Jif pronouciation wars.
Currently in college. They are agnostic as it’s all turned in on PDF files, quizzes on browser, etc but my online classes require I install some root kit program to make sure I’m not cheating and it detects if it’s on a VM. I talked to IT and they let me borrow a laptop with windows. Slow as hell, but I only need it for the online tests so 4 times a semester.
I got a wool blanket. I’m sure there’s away to fold/drape into a cloak.
Just looked into it. just need a pin!
The prices are high over here as well, when the interest rate drops again I’ll look into taking a HELOC or refinance. I’m trying to put as much money into the principal as I can in the mean time.
Mine too! There’s slight water damage to the bottom kitchen cabinets and wooden floors, that we can for too fix, as water slowly leaked down the walls, but at least we got new roof, windows and doors.
I guess I should count myself lucky everything is expected in be turned in as a PDF and Google docs is used for everything else. The anticheat recognizes it’s running on a VM and throws and error.
I bought a cheap laptop for school just to run their windows anti cheat crap. Do you have to run something similar?
If you put the holes about 2 cm up on the sides you get the juice contained while still getting air flow.
There are a lot more jobs in the medical profession than doctor or nurse. It’s indoors so climate controlled. There’s 2 yr programs that start out around 60k a year.
Helped change a water heater at my parents place. Got quoted 1k in labor. Took us a little less than 2 hrs of actual work to do it. Had to buy new flexible connectors and Teflon tape. Possible fire or water damage is no joke so i understand the hesitation to DIY, but the work is pretty straight forward.
Trades are absolutely a viable option. There will always be a need.
Great grandpa was a woodworker, there’s been at least one in every generation, and some how got a hold of a late 1800s or early 1900s Stanley No.1 plane. I think it sells for around 2k to 2500. Its got wear, but it still works just fine.
I rarely use it, but it’s something that’s been in the family for over 100 years. I do a little woodworking, mostly utilitarian stuff like boxes and shelves, but I’ll never sell it. 3 generations of people used it to make a living.
I just got it and now figuring out all the settings. The internal ad skips or whatever it’s called are gold.
I’ve heard of it, but havent tried it yet. It hasn’t been enough of a problem for me to start looking, but, looking at it now, this just might be what I need. Thanks
I’ve noticed that some videos randomly won’t start with Firefox on Android. I have to fast forward and then it will load. I’m guessing it’s trying to play an ad, gets blocked, and just retries instead of starting the video. Eventually theres gonna be an add on that automatically starts videos 5 seconds ahead to avoid the opening ad all together.
Nothing makes me learn as quickly and thoroughly as sheer panic and hoping someone was a stupid as me and there’s an answer already posted somewhere.
Wtf! I’ve had my 1080p 55 inch dumb as a rock tv for over 7 year, i liberated it from my brother so its older, and was gonna start looking for when finally starts to go. I guess ima need to find someone that knows how to fix it.
Seeing SM64 at Walmart was crazy to me. I can’t remember which game it was on PS2, but I was thinking there’s no way they can improve graphics from here on out.
