Are you west coast? Somewhere else?

What a fucking knob
Yeah there are a bunch on uncensored models on ollama. It’s stupid easy to use!
It’s kind of like the difference between talking about people who are black and referring to someone as “one of the blacks”. It’s subtle, but the latter is objectifying where as the former is descriptive.
I wouldn’t work a windows exclusive job, it’s a deal breaker for me, so I’d definitely ask. I work in an all Mac shop that does enterprise cloud architecture.
That was a cool vid- I don’t know much about antennas, so that was a fascinating watch. Thanks!
No, the light output of a lamp is the same, you’ve just focused more of it in a particular direction. It’s the same reason flashlights have a cone shaped mirror around the bulb. If it were possible to double light output, then putting a lamp between two mirrors would make infinite light.
I’d say adaptability would be priority in an environment that is subject to frequent change. Environments that are largely static probably favor efficiency.
Docker or Kubernetes work well on a cluster. Before containers this was a lot more work to set up, but these days you just need to image them all, put them on the network, and then use some kind of container orchestration to send them containers/pods.
I totally agree, hot swap modules are the only way it can work- treat them like propane tanks!
I hope so but I doubt it. It’s not the price that’s so much of an issue but the fact that the packs are non-standard, non-serviceable, and the car is worthless without it. Manufacturers make money selling their own custom batteries at markup. It’ll take government regulation to force companies to begin using a modular system because there is literally negative incentive for manufactures to do it on their own.
The #1 problem with EVs is not the energy and materials used to create the battery because that is eclipsed many times over by not using gas during the battery’s life- the biggest problem is that the entire car becomes e-waste as soon as the battery is damaged or degraded in any way.
Cause windows sucks and licenses?
Just another thing to consider: the codec the video is encoded with matters, h.265 is gonna need a lot more beef than h.264 or mp4.
We can only hope
90% of my career as a software engineer and cloud architect over the last 15 years has been figuring it out myself. It’s great when there is a senior super coder with free time to mentor you, but that was literally never the case for me, I’ve been the most senior on every project I’ve ever worked.
It means I had to learn a lot of things the hard way, but I also think it made me better at what I do. I now mentor jr devs to try and save them some pain, but what you’re seeing, especially in a small company where people wear a lot of hats is pretty normal.
I don’t think so, but having partner buy-in is def important. Actors that do sex scenes or models that take nude photos/videos aren’t generally considered cheaters for doing so, but doing it in secret might be a breach of trust.
Not a gentoo fan I take it
Don’t know if they continued to renew it, but macOS was officially certified as unix for a few years!
