Have you considered a VPS?
I have one that is pretty basic but works very well for about $4US a month. Mine runs Ubuntu 22.

Damn. I thought it was me, but scrolling through Everything & Top Day is just filled with rage bait and doom news. I rarely find something uplifting. And I usually find myself more anxious after reading through them.
I really want Lemmy to thrive, that’s why I am here, but I used to be able to filter all that shit in reddit and still have a bunch of funny dumb simple happy posts. If I do that here I get no posts back…
Control is on my backlog list. Thanks for the writeup. Now I know what to expect.
Using cheats for 1 player offline games is 100% OK in my book. I am an adult with so much responsabilties and little time to game. Sitting for 2 hours frustrated on something and not progressing is just not my idea of fun. Nudging yourself through with the help of cheats, easy mode or anything else is totally valid.
I have done this with a few games. Disgaea games come to mind… I know most of the enjoyment of those games comes from the grind to level up and get stronger to then grind some more… But I just couldn’t make myself fight the same level 25 times to earn enough XP to upgrade so I memory edited the values just enough to simulate me grinding for 2 hours in 5 minutes. Not enough to break the game but enough to get me through the grindy parts.
And any offline 1 player game that tries that shit will get memory edited right away.
Of course I will always try to do it the intended way, as long as it’s not annoying to me.
That scene actually looks very real.
Here is a video on how they made it
OMG. I got 8.95% for a 25yr mortgage and it was an awesome deal. Market was about 13.5%. Your numbers are really just free money from where am standing.
Absolutely right. I would not judge you if I saw you at the supermarket. But this dude is the face of a fashion and beauty brand. They are pushing this body type (rarely occurs naturally in healthy folks like you) and mostly occurs on people with health problems. In a way they are pushing a non healthy image to many people that are not like you. I would even dare to say you are a very minuscule porcentage of people with this body type that are 100% healthy so this is being pushed to folks that have lovehandles and now they hate themselves.
You cannot tell me that dude (duddette?) doesn’t have an eating disorder. That looks sickly and horrible.
I think I am going to start Astral Ascent as soon as I am finished with Dave the Diver. Thanks for the mini review.
Almost done with Dave The Diver. I am enjoying it quite a bit.
I just built a laptop and I always choose Mint. I used the XFCE spin and it failed me. Everything worked well except the second monitor screen. I just could not get it to display proper 1080p. I tried forums and changed a bunch of configurations.
I ended up getting Fedora on it and it worked out of the box. Oh well. Fedora it is then.

Every single person I know or meet uses WhatsApp. About 90% of the businesses I interact with use WhatsApp Businesses. My whole family uses WhatsApp.
Moving to another system is going to take a lot a lot of work.

Sample size is relevant as a proportion of the difference you are looking for.
For example:
Sample A: 1.1, 1.3, 1.5, 1.2, 1.1
Sample B: 345.3, 323.4, 322.3, 355.2
Determining a statistical difference between these two groups where a meaningful difference is 20%, does not require more samples. The chance of error on making a claim that A is less than B will be quite low.
Not saying that N=18 in this case is sufficient, just stating that the number alone does not give you enough information to determine whether a claim has weight to it or not.
Try Power Toys. It’s made by Microsoft and the Power Toys community and it’s free. It has a module to rebind keys just like AHK and it works really well with no admin access. It has a bunch of other nifty tools. I love it.
The Binding of Isaac.
This is the eternal game of ever. It is balanced, fair, excellent feedback (time to win), super I’m depth unlocks, one of the best meta games. Take the time to learn the basics and this game is infinite.
Which patch is that? I would love to have that in my FF.
No need for side loading apps. So works on all phones. Phones that are remotely admin have this feature off.
I am sucker for these things. I have a small laptop I keep around for menial tasks and I use Mint on it. I wanted to change it for a while and this article just tipped the balance. Fedora here we go! Although I will be using Xfce for it’s lightweight.
But… Yay Linux! Yay Fedora! Yay OP!
I have a water container I need to take care of in my house. An ultrasonic sensor hooked to my raspberry 3b uploads the collected data to my vps that later serves an html through Flask to show the water level. It has a few alarms so that I can take action at the appropriate time. The ultrasonic sensors HC-SR04 suck and I have to replace them quite frequently. Other then that it works really well.
Why are the ARR a bad idea for a VPS?
Yeah storage suck on mine but you can get a seed box for storage and run the apps in the VPS. But that’s another subscription.
