I’ve got a pretty sweet gig, all of us do at this company, and I think “rocking the boat” could only make my situation worse. We are only like a dozen people and there’s only one person in each “department”. We aren’t being mistreated and we are privileged enough to be able to leave if we were.

That’s too simplistic. The two parties will either make it worse or not make it better. Not voting (assuming you are in a state without winner-takes-all or are in a swing/purple state) is letting other people decide for you. Walking away from the trolley problem doesn’t untie people from the tracks.

That’s one of my favorite features of Nova launcher, along with getting rid of the google assistant stuff and the google search bar.
Yeah, they were fine for my low standards as a young teenager, but I reread a couple and they aren’t great. Heck, book one has the MC making an amicus brief on the wrong side of a rape trial.
Have no continuous throughlines and can be listened to in any order. They’re fun to listen to, and nice to have on as background noise.

It a great podcast for sure. The ending was so awkward, that it’s almost as if they want us to speculate about what happened to Carrie. They barely complimented each other, recorded separately, and didn’t even like the other’s goodbye announcement on social media. Very odd.
As far as I can tell from creeping, Drew and Carrie’s pets are still alive, so it’s not that.
I’ve binged 60 episodes in like three weeks after a recommendation from a fellow dad. It’s fantastic.
