I’ve experienced this sort of thing with my car. it’s a old 50s car that had a engine swap and a few mods before I got it. so one one hand everything is universal but on the other hand I don’t know what is stock. I only know what sizes are currently under the hood. which wouldn’t be a problem if the guys at AutoZone or O’Reilly’s knew what the different sizes ment. Before I finally figured out what car my engine came from. id just measure the part I need. come in and tell them the part I need, and they would just sit confused until they just asked me what car is this part going into. sometimes the part happens to be stock bel air size, but sometimes they weren’t and the guy would have to bring the used part to the back. until they found something the right size. Hell even when I ordered online id have to wonder if I’m going to be fighting the “guarantee to fit your car thing.” because I don’t know if stock will work. Here at least you can navigate if you managed to find a conversation calculator. My measurement standards don’t matter no matter what unit I use.

Unless you’re talking about towing other cars and carrying entire trees yea a kai probably wouldn’t make the cut but for furniture transportation fire wood mail delivery and mulch transportation are all things that take way less horsepower than you think hell even with car towing I’ve done with a dinky little 4 wheeler from the 80s if a atv can do all the things I mentioned a kai can absolutely accomplish them and you don’t take up soo much space when you take your haul through the city the reason everyone hates full size pickups is because soo many people just use them to get groceries and nothing more

Why it’s a Cadillac ATS this car is the physical incarnation of mildly infuriating and I have no idea why my dad loves it so much when both me and my mom find everything about that car mildly infuriating I guess they just found another way to make the car mildly infuriating

I suppose it could be like antique cars in my home state where just about everyone has a antique car and is still a status symbol but at least with a car that you have to constantly work on it yourself it’s kinda a hey look at what I’ve made sort of status symbol maybe Norwegians are hot rodding Teslas?

You might want to be a bit quiet about that they might find out they accidentally made a good car with consumer friendly updates

Granted not a software update but my dad’s Cadillac got recalled once and all they did was make the ceiling buttons harder to read that was the one time he ever obayed a recall

There’s a lot of better ways to do that like for me I typically ether just plug my phone into the line in port or if there isn’t one I just pair my phone and play mp3s off of my MP3 player app and if your car demands you use a service just get a Bluetooth radio transmitter so your car thinks it’s just listening to ordinary radio
