I think Trump will weaponize as many aspects of the government as he possibly can against anyone and any group he sees as a threat or challenge to himself, and one of those groups is the Democratic Party. And I also think he’ll direct the more militant groups of his followers (3%ers, proud boys, etc) much more explicitly in the conduct of violence against his opponents - up to and including having direct contact with their leadership.
