A firearm is very much a tool in some non-combat applications. Ranching, for instance.
Red Wing Iron Rangers
lol nice, another fellow user of the term “meatspace”. I find the term quite self explanatory, but I often have to explain it to people when I allow it into my vernacular.
Why are you on Facebook in the first place?
What a fucking tool.
Good job, Biden. You care so much about your legacy? Guess what: your legacy is now “one of the hubristic egotistical dipshits that made so many unforced errors that you basically opened the fucking door for the fascists to take over”. You’ll be remembered alongside the likes of Neville Chamberlain and Paul von Hindenburg. You absolute fucking chode. You lost the fucking republic.
Fascinating documentary that slipped through a wormhole from the future
Is this one of the areas where corps are buying up a shitload of real estate?
Tbh those things are great little thin clients to leave near your couch, despite their age
DAS enclosures are super easy to set up. Disk won’t be a big issue if you go that route.
If you’re planning on running containers, tbh I would not. The required virtualization layer (due to macOS being BSD-based) is going to make containers WAY less efficient. You’re better off with a system you can easily slap proxmox (or whatever distro floats your boat) on.
In MA, when I worked the polls in 2020, they had a cop on duty in the polling location the whole day to deal with any yahoos like that. To be clear, that’s ALL they’re there for - they’re otherwise completely uninvolved with the administering of the election, and the operation of the polling location. Iirc the guy was just reading a book most of the time. I admit I’m somewhat surprised more jurisdictions don’t have some sort of policy like that. At the same time, I’m sure it would be abused by police forces in some parts of the country.
I just want to pick one and stick with it. Like, holy fuck, the switching is awful.
Codeberg is pretty legit
Yes, that’s another distinct possibility.
But as I see it, Trump et al will think it’s a super bigly power move if they can just destroy the Democratic Party outright, so they’ll probably try to do that anyways
I’m still getting the feeling that Harris will win.
But if she doesn’t, I don’t think they’ll exist as a viable political party by 2028, and not because people will lose faith in them. I think Trump will weaponize as many aspects of the government as he possibly can against anyone and any group he sees as a threat or challenge to himself, and one of those groups is the Democratic Party. And I also think he’ll direct the more militant groups of his followers (3%ers, proud boys, etc) much more explicitly in the conduct of violence against his opponents - up to and including having direct contact with their leadership.
I’m not being hyperbolic. This is a playbook we’ve seen before. Harris losing would be roughly equivalent in many ways to the NSDAP (that would be the Nazis) rise to power in the early 1930s.
Same.
Years ago, like an idiot, I gave my primary email address to ActBlue. I get SO MUCH political spam now, it’s insane. Like, I now have a blanket policy to just immediately unsubscribe, delete, and blacklist entire domains now.
There was a two-generation long lithography issue that they had not been able to solve. You are grossly understating the technical scope of the problem, as well as the trust issues Intel themselves created with the way they handled the whole debacle.
I’m not ever going to buy a 13/14 gen Intel core unless it’s at absolute bargain basement prices. In a professional IT context, nobody in purchasing departments should be buying the impacted SKUs in the affected date range (and practically, that means “they won’t buy those SKUs, full stop”).
The LLM sabotage movement is picking up speed and I am absolutely here for it 💯
