Yeah, any of the trades would be a good idea. Just find one you like. HVAC, brick or tile setter, carpenter, etc.

Ok. Your lenses are cheap. Others aren’t because of their prescriptions and additional needs for the lenses.
The issue isn’t frames, it’s the lenses.
I definitely see a shift where I live in the US (Northeast). We used to get snow that stuck in November and it carried us through to March or April. Now we will get some flurries but nothing really sticks until January. The overall length remains the same, but it seems shifted by a month or two
Ah ok, I get this. But I took the tone of the post as “fuck this guy for taking up four spots”.
Maybe I’m a little annoyed at other posts and choosing a weird hill to die on with this one.
I mean I’m giving the guy the benefit of the doubt here. He’s practically on the line to the right and slightly over on the back. Oh no! Burn the witch! I’ve seen people in small cars park worse.
Sounds like you just hate trucks, and that’s ok.
While I generally agree with giving people shit for taking up multiple spots, this one isn’t that bad. He’s just over the line. You see some people who park in the middle of those four spots.
I think people used social media (Reddit, Twitter even Instagram) as a replacement. As those started going to shit, people probably migrated back to rss
I hear everyone singing the AeroPress praises, and while I like mine I actually much prefer my Chemex. I like the taste a little more, those Chemex filters are great.
But anyways, can’t go wrong with either. Then you get them hooked on an expensive hobby 😂
How so? The lawyers at Meta are actually good at their job, they are doing what lawyers should do when they have more money than the opposition. Just like the managers are doing what they should do when they want something and can burn cash to get it.
Wouldn’t those outdoor ones be super expensive?
Yeah, I’d actually argue it’s the opposite. Meta knows exactly what it’s doing, it just sucks for the little guy.
Meta will just drag this out in the courts until the little guy can’t afford to keep going and then they settle.
Postgres may be an option over MySQL.
Knowing Spotify, I would assume it’s 15 hours of book regardless of speed listened.
I agree, I think it does more harm than good.
A repost bot could provide some value if it’s reposting say news articles or sports scores. Even then you would need to find a way to make sure the posts have some value and are not just spam. However if the purpose of the post was to provide some sort of advice to the OP, the repost is worthless.
People left reddit because the reddit company sucks and they don’t want to support it, not just spez.
But people still want to see a bunch of content. There’s really no alternative to Reddit and Twitter because even if you can mimic their ideas, you won’t be able to magically copy the user base and therefore the content generation. It took YEARS for those platforms to get to where they are.
Be the change you want to see, post more OC!
That’s how it should be though.
On a 5 star system, 3 should be average. However, for many things in the US this is skewed so that “average” or acceptable is like 4+. This means receiving anything less than a 5 means there were significant issues.
It sucks.
Thanks! Been trying to do that as there’s just so much to learn. I’ve stuck to a few build guides (started playing midway through Crucible). I found a build that I like and it’s fun (RF inquis, nice walking simulator 😅) but it struggles doing content that I like (bossing). So I’m trying out a DD Elementalist with the hopes of next league maybe being just a one build guy and respecing once I get some currency.
I have been able to get two voidstones, and the Maven seems doable as my RF but when I read about the fight I must have ignored that last phase and had horrible placement on those pools.
I want to complete all the end game bosses first and then I’ll try to do a deep dive on the passive tree and maybe try my own builds or something.
That’s just the state that Lemmy is in right now. It’s not a massive community like Reddit is. It’s not easy! It’s very time consuming, and probably not a very rewarding experience. However, if you want to use Lemmy that’s probably the best solution. Either that or come back when it’s a more mature software. You would have had a similar experience in the early days of Reddit.
This is my biggest issue with AI. ChatGPT is a nice party trick, but how do you ensure the results are correct?
I used to hate having to show my work when I was younger. But as I have gotten older, I realized the result isn’t as important as how you got there.
