Honestly, your job doesn’t matter. Study the absolute hell out of leetcode and do mock interviews. Then, when you feel confident you’ll know you’re ready.
If you watch WWDC, they shared how it works. They have a private cloud that does not persist data on it, only processes it. Also, it’s audited by a third party and there is a cryptographic mechanism that will not allow your request to be accepted unless the server software has been publicly signed by the auditor. At least, this is my best understanding of it from what I remember.
Also, in the same presentation they announced that you can now lock your Apps and hide them, which will keep its data out of the OS search results. I am fairly certain this also means it’s opted out of ML/AI processing given that any LLM would rely on the same search index.
Cool idea
lol… 30 terabytes?! Okay. I’m sure even Google Fi has a cap like that. Most people would struggle to even come close to that. It’s 30x the cap of even a home internet provider like Comcast, which usually limits you to 1 terabyte. Most people would have a really hard time hitting even that on their mobile.
The other thing to consider is Visible is cheaper than Google FI too. And most people aren’t going to use anywhere near 30 terabytes.
Yeah if you pay for the $45/plan it’s 10Mbps speed
It’s too expensive. Visible is cheaper and unlimited everything, even hot spot, and no soft data cap.
Visible has an unlimited hotspot
I feel like the reason a company like skiff became more popular than something like cryptopad, which has been around for a while comes down to execution and UX/UI. I’m pissed about skiff, but I did use it. I’ve never used Cryptpad because frankly it looks and feels not that great. I hope they put some effort into the UX/UI.
That was the moment I deleted Facebook from my phone. Deleted my account a short while later.
Right… a violation of our TnC… doesn’t matter. Maybe for the customer, not the repo owner.
Seems like the customer would be violating the TnC, not the repo owner
Look up the model number. There are some that maintain 100% capacity down to negative temps, and there are some that lose capacity as the temperature outside drops. You can look up something called a “submittal data sheet” to find out the output capacity at different temperatures.
Capacity is measured in BTUs. So, if the heat pump is a 30,000 BTU model and it’s 47 degrees outside, it may produce 30,000 BTUs. However, at 17 degrees outside, it may only produce 20,000 BTUs. At -5 F, it may only do 10,000 BTU. Other models will keep 30,000 BTUs all the way down to -15F. The trade off is they use more electricity. Checking the data sheet can help you figure out what your model is capable of.
Mitsubishi is generally regarded as the best brand and they sell a line called “hyper heat.” These maintain capacity in low temps. Other brands have similar.
You just by a driving got passed soldier a Hemi!!!
Friendica is a Facebook-like app? Which means you use your real identity and connect to real life friends. This also means all that data gets passed around to any instance that wants it via activity pub. Given the potential for abuse there that is just inherent to the app, I don’t think I would ever be interested in a service like Friendica.
Sure, but they do take snaps of the screen and send it to advertisers. Almost all “smart” TVs do this.
NextDNS is also great for this kind of blocking. It’s like pihole as a service.
They’re taking pictures of what you’re watching on the screen and sending it to random 3rd party data collectors to analyze and then harass you with ads.
Are they charging tax on the service charge too?
It’s likely they were trying to get the news riled up so they could cause a moral outrage that would attract attention to the game.
