I had the same problem - see this thread for solution (you have to scoll down to the middle)

Not to my understanding?
I’ve been trying to find a search engine that doesn’t use AI for this very reason, but with little luck. Any suggestions?
Combustible lemons. But failing that, a portal gun.
This is not distro specific advice but: when starting out you can use a virtual machine like VMware to test drive Linux without having to repartition your drive. VMware is free for individual non commercial use.
Wireless APs are the way to go - make sure to get ones that support VLANs for better network security.
Idk about that. I’ve met “Native Americans” who prefer the term Indian over Native American.
For work the only thing that holds me back from using Linux is Office 365. The web apps for O365 are just not up to par for anything other than the most basic tasks.
For more complex documents, O365 does not work well, sadly.
agreed! If there were ever a linux distro that Just Works, it would be Linux Mint.
Severus.
Not a movie, but One Piece.
You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means.
you can also say 供 (講) 三小 which means what the fuck are you saying?
三小 in Taiwanese literally translates as “what sperm?” But it means “what the fuck”.
I get your point - but here’s the thing: your average Windows user doesn’t even know how to install Windows. And for a good subset of them, even installing a browser extension is a challenge.
Surprisingly, Microsoft Authenticator works very well. On iOS it lets you back up your authentication tokens to iCloud and on Android I believe there is some way to do this too (I don’t have an Android phone so idk). I would avoid Google Authenticator because to the best of my knowledge there is no way to back up, and at some point in the past it crashed on me and I lost all my 2FA logins, which was a huge pain to recover from.
RIP 😭
