You get what you pay for
This hasn’t been true since the 70s. Back when the price of an item was dictated by things like material cost and labor.
My wife followed this influencer who was selling an $80 necklace. This influencer had sold hundreds of them. It was from her “personal” style collection. My wife was hoping to find something similar for cheaper so she reverse searched the necklace. She found the exact pendants and chain for sale for pennies. The $80 necklace cost my wife $5 to make, with shipping.
Cost is not an indicator of quality anymore. Things cost whatever the company thinks you’ll pay for them, and not a penny less.

Once you get good at cracking the banks, you basically have unlimited money. Then upgrade your gear like crazy.
For me, I never got the hang of the mainframes with multiple steps and routers and such. Still a fun game though.

If they had access to a machine, the first thing you do is install some kind of root kit so you can get access again later. This could be as small as modifying an existing binary to do things it isn’t supposed to do.
If they didn’t access any machine, your fine.
That’s why I’m explaining it, yes. So more people can know it.
The job hunt is like any other hobby or skill. Some bits are obvious and written down. Some bits are learned by talking to other people who have done it.
I’ve hired people for a decade. I’m explaining why it’s there. I’m not saying it’s the right way to do it. Just that this is the way it’s done.
I’ve been hiring people for 10 years. Before it was common to post salaries, this was a good way to not waste people’s time interviewing for jobs below their rate.
It’s in the requirement section because that’s the section we are able to modify on the stupid Excel sheet that the recruiters force us to use.
The higher bound is an indication of maximum salary. It’s saying “we need at least 5 years experience, but if you have 30, we’re paying you like you have 5.”
He cried Wolf and it turned out to be a fox. He gets a pass.
It is WAY better to over report than under report. I don’t want vendors to have a lot of ability to say “nope that’s not a security problem, sweep it under the rug”.
Thanks! There’s a very interesting trail of dead projects to follow. But I got ngx working and it’s great so far.
By ‘paperless’, y’all mean this one? https://docs.paperless-ngx.com/

Oh, silly me. I was looking on the Play store. Thanks!
Which tempo? Is that a media player for Android? I’ve been looking for an android client for my navidrome.
Lol. I guess my auto correct fixed it. Oops. I’ll edit
“an historic” only works in some accents. British, for example, pronounces it as “istoric”.
Edit: un-mis-spelling
Namecheap is reputable and WAY cheaper than that. Been using them for years.
