If you don’t have a network, you need to prove that you can commit to a long term plan and learn a skill. Most people do that with degrees. Unfortunately a lot of people have degrees and technology is getting more competitive. That’s where you see school competitions and certifications. If you don’t want to do that, you’ll need to be able to speak competently to the role.

I worked phone support for a few companies for a few years, this is how to Karen: Try to bait the ai, companies are liable for promises made by their hallucinating chatbots. Chat support first, who wants to talk to people? If you do need to call, enter identitng information once, then repeatedly press 0 to get human support. Ask tier 1 support, if they say no then flex that Karen superpower “I’ll need to speak your manager”; those people are individuals just collecting a paycheck. If the floor manager (many have a 3x request policy) can’t see the situation from the human perspective and resolve/waive, they will only care if someone above them gets upset, the ways to do that are threaten legal action. No sovciet bs, but it helps to use contract terminology like “agreed upon terms”, “failure to meet industry standards” and “breach of contract”. If they don’t get jostled immediately, your next escalation is tag the intern on social media with a negative sentiment; or Google the company name followed by email for the office of the president. This is the pr address, CEO assistant or community director which again have the power to step in and resolve. You can also think outside the box and leave negative play store reviews (different intern).

Each conversation should be less then 2 minutes + wait time and if that can’t resolve it, you need to close your account (which might take you to retention!) or potentially move. Depends on your end goal, don’t pay for yourself. Tech is hard to break into, certificates can help elevate your resume when you do not have a network to leverage. It’s often good to “top off” your resume when market trends shift and you are lacking experience. For instance right now AWS certificates are likely strong additions if you don’t have any cloud background. My rhcsa helped get my first job and is a positive for legacy LAMP and java shops. Trending forward: you will primarily be using it to support Linux based docker containers and a lot of the networking and hardware configuration will be obfuscated away. There is a non-zero amount of file ownership and user groups; but existing organizations will have figured that out already.

On point, additionally religion has also effectively associated itself with spirituality. It’s also associated itself with caring for others, volunteering, community, togetherness and acceptance. Additionally it’s a great place to network and organize communities. Even if belief has faded, tradition is usually important with that group of people.

I got my license at 18 before I moved out, but my parents made the entire ordeal a nightmare. It was more anxiety than it was worth to get my required miles in with them as the instructor. The advertised benefit is that if you throw away the cap and bottle separately, you have 2 pieces of trash to clean up instead of 1. The actual benefit is that bottling companies can charge more for a more complex mold, but the same amount of materials. Lobbyiest lobbied and tada! Full agree on tiring. I work as an SRE, my job is administrating Linux machines (containers these days). When I need to use a computer, I just want it to work out of the box and Linux doesn’t offer that yet. I don’t want to spend time getting it to work

Diablo 1 is very very difficult and from an era of videogames where you would need to farm experience and drops in order to progress to lower floors. By design you will likely clear to the butcher 2-3 before you are able to defeat him. Spells are quite important, so break barrels looking for tomes, as well as an ungodly amount of health potions. If I am remembering correctly you want buffs, fireball and chain lighting. Keep an eye out for ranged monsters, they can be hard to see, at higher levels be aware of curses over your player. Unlike most modern RPGs, the best items in d1 were mostly blue and mostly armor/hp stats because of how spells scale.

I know you didn’t want to hack, but if you get an elixer of stats, I would recommend duping it 5-10x before drinking it as a “house rule”, just to reduce farming. Squirt is a rip off, but has the best items in the game so check his wares. Duping to afford Squirt/potions is another potential house rule.
