that was from baobab… which is supposed to “just work”
Hi! I’m Alex, a.k.a. Ultra. I use NixOS btw. Gen Z, Romanian.
that was from baobab… which is supposed to “just work”
that doesnt work on newer devices
but you have to pay
trollstore doesn’t work on every device and sigbalous and maplesign are payed.
I KNOW
I thonk kobo or onyx
The lego mindstorms ev3 robot
THEY DO?!? NO WAY!
That’s not what rollbacks are for.
On NixOS, to change most configs, you need to rebuild.
To rebuild, you need internet.
If you mess up DNS, you need to rebuild to gain internet.
But you need internet to rebuild, so you can’t.
That’s when rollbacks are useful
Just wait until you mess up something like DNS or delete every text editor and you’ll be grateful for rollbacks.
I’ve used the black one ever since I found out about it, thanks a lot for these lovely cursors!
It’s NixOS but more free and with scheme instead of nix
nix is a programming language too
FYI, browsh is more than just an old school terminal web browser (that would be lynx). It’s actually full firefox (or chromium IIRC), adapted to run in a terminal
Isn’t that just for the initial install? I was talking about post-install configuration
As someone else said, you can overwrite the firmware if you get the unlocked one and the flashing tool, then you can relock it
Oh, that’s cool
There is no way of storing a device application (or any other data) on the TKey. A device app has to be loaded onto the TKey every time you plug it in.
That kinda sucks.
woah, nice!
