I imagine downvoting incorrect answers being pretty useful in this type of community, it’s nothing personal and as you said, it doesn’t mean anything. Though just not upvoting would be sufficient.

Weird, your client probably didn’t update, I am in families beta and it was there.
I’m not a developer. Just explaining why projects keep within their scope and don’t bloat their software with features, which in turn take more effort to maintain.
They have their scope. It’s a video transcoder. Programs are better suited to doing their job well rather than stretching themselves thin with loads of features.
For an initial release yeah, but no real reason for them settings to not exist (in an advanced section if they are too scary for people), people are making their voice heard in the right channels though, so we just gotta hope Valve implement them.
It works pretty well, but kind of barebones at the moment, a lack of advanced audio and video settings lets it down.
The timeline feature is great though, being able to easily watch back your gameplay in real-time as it records.
They need support for multiple audio tracks, other codecs, resolution options, framerate options, different bitrate options. Also recording to memory absolutely needs to be an option so I’m not wearing down my disk by constantly writing to it.
Being in either beta gives you access to this. It’s right there on the webpage.
You gonna fight for it?
Buy someone a gift.
5 is simpler, but still with a lot of depth and a high skill ceiling. 6 just added more systems without much rhyme or reason. That’s what I felt anyway, I also massively preferred 5’s art style.

The Pixel is one of the most distinct looking phones anyway, kind of hard to hide it. The text on the case is disgusting though.
Likes and the like should be public, then there’s no tampering and people who like the insane shit can’t hide that fact. Dunno why people are still using that platform regardless.
Not that big of a deal to me personally, the app is still brilliant and open to the community. But given the community this is posted in I understand the concern and alternatives like Organic Maps are great for that.
I see, that’s very useful for lower end devices then. If I ever need voice, I’ll stick to OSMAnd then for now.
I like OSMAnd’s visuals, very simple and configurable. OM seems to just be material design. Subjective of course!
What are some reasons as to why I would want to use this over, say, OSMAnd?
Yeah, 5 isnt too bad unless you got loads of units late game. 6 overwhelmed me from the get go.
5 is superior imo, it’s more simple to understand but has a lot to master. It’s more visually appealing too, Civ 6 throws so much extra crap at you.
5 is more depth from simple mechanics. 6 is adding mechanics to try and make depth. I’d recommend 5 for sure, though 2K are kind of scummy and put 6 on discounts to try and force players into that and no longer really put Civ 5 on sale cause they know people would rather buy that.
Only if you care about it. I can see why people do care, but there’s really no need to, especially in this enviroment.
